Please ensure that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before booking. By booking a service you are agreeing that you have read, understood and will adhere to them.
On-Lead Policy
Dogs must remain on leads at all times unless specifically instructed otherwise by the trainer.
Distance Between Dogs
Dogs should remain at least 4 metres apart unless directed otherwise for specific exercises. This is to ensure the emotional and physical wellbeing of all dogs present.
Waste Management
Owners are responsible for collecting and removing their dog’s waste. Please ensure you bring sufficient bags and dispose of waste responsibly.
Children
Children are welcome but must remain under adult supervision at all times. Disruptive behaviour may result in being asked to leave.
Dog Suitability
Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people. If your dog struggles in these environments, please contact us to discuss alternative training options.
Bitches in Season
If your bitch is in season, please do not bring her to class. This is for her wellbeing and to ensure the comfort of all dogs attending. Owners will not be penalised for missing sessions due to their bitch being in season. Please provide as much notice as possible and contact us to discuss how we can ensure you do not miss out on your membership benefits.
Commitment
Membership requires a 3-month minimum commitment, after which it can be cancelled with 7 days’ notice.
Holiday Adjustments
If Love Your Paws is on holiday for 14 days or fewer within a month, membership prices remain unchanged as sufficient opportunities to book sessions will still be available. For extended holidays exceeding 14 days, membership pricing may be adjusted.
Cancellation Notice
Classes can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 3 days prior without penalty.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made within 3 days of the scheduled class will result in the session being deducted from your membership. If the session was booked separately (e.g., as a drop-in or additional session), it will not be refunded.
Illness and Injury
Illness or injury affecting the dog or owner is considered part of life’s unexpected challenges and will not qualify for exceptions to the cancellation policy.
Weather or Circumstance Changes
In-person classes may occasionally be replaced with online sessions due to weather or other circumstances. These sessions count as the booked session and are non-transferable.
Availability
While not a core service, one-to-one training may be booked under specific circumstances.
Payment Terms
Payment is required within 48 hours of booking or immediately for sessions booked within 5 days.
Cancellation Notice
Cancellations made fewer than two calendar days prior will incur the full fee. Cancellations made more than two calendar days prior may be rearranged for a mutually convenient time.
Illness
Dogs showing signs of illness, particularly kennel cough, must not attend classes.
Vaccinations
Please ensure your dog’s vaccinations / titre tests are up to date.
Training Field
The training field is a private outdoor space maintained for dog training purposes; however, it is not fully secure. The field may include uneven ground, holes, divots, or other natural features. Owners must remain vigilant and responsible for their footing and safety while on-site.
Toilet Facilities
There are no toilet facilities available at the training field. Please plan accordingly.
Parking
All vehicles must be parked on the hard standing only and not on the grass unless explicitly instructed. Driving on the grass, particularly in wet weather, can cause damage and result in vehicles becoming stuck. Due to limited parking, vehicles should park nose-to-tail to ensure efficient use of space.
Arrival Times
Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your session. This allows the previous session to finish and avoids congestion in the limited parking area.
Driving Consideration for Country Lanes
Access to the training field involves narrow country lanes with limited passing spaces. Please drive carefully and at a speed considerate of pedestrians, dog walkers, and horse riders.
Parking at Your Own Risk
Vehicles parked at the venue or nearby public areas are done so at the owner’s risk. Love Your Paws does not accept responsibility for theft, damage, or accidents.
Data Protection
Personal data is kept confidential and not shared with third parties. Email addresses may be used to share updates and information about services. Clients can opt out of receiving emails at any time.
Training Outcomes
Love Your Paws takes no responsibility for misinterpretation of advice. Training outcomes depend on various external factors, and success cannot be guaranteed without client adherence to guidance.
Media Usage
Love Your Paws may use photos or videos taken during sessions for promotional purposes. Photos including children will not be used without explicit parental/guardian consent.
